Fees

The Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2023-2024 has the standard 46 to 60 minute consultation fee at $300. Our fee of $243.35 per hour consultation is considerably lower and is payable at the end of the session. Following payment, you will receive a receipt.  

If you have a referral from your GP, or treating doctor, and they have completed a Mental Health Care Plan you can claim a rebate of $93.35 from Medicare at the end for the appointment using EFTPOS. The gap fee in this case will be $150. Medicare currently allows for 10 rebates within the calendar year.  

Those with Private Health Insurance may be entitled to a rebate via HICAPS or online claiming, though this is an alternative to Medicare (i.e. you can’t claim rebates from both Medicare and HICAPS for the same appointment). 

Cancellation Policy

If for some reason you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give at least 48 hours notice.

Cancellation fees apply: 0-24 hours notice incurs a fee of $110. (We have running costs including full time reception, rent, practice software, insurance, etc; if clients just don’t turn up, we still must pay all these costs, hence a cancellation fee).

All cancellation fees must be paid prior to the next scheduled appointment preferably.
